The Smart Sleep Coach was designed with real parents in mind — busy days, daycare naps, and multiple devices included. Here’s how the app helps you track sleep easily and stay on schedule, no matter what your day looks like.
Track Sleep Without the Stress
We know your hands are full, so we’ve made sleep tracking as quick and effortless as possible.
Smart features that save you time:
- 1-click sleep tracking: Start or stop naps with just a tap
- Dynamic scheduling: The app adjusts automatically based on your baby’s latest sleep
- No more math: You’ll never need to calculate a wake window again
Common questions about sleep tracking
When Should I Start Tracking a Nap?
To keep your schedule accurate, start tracking when your baby actually falls asleep, not when you place them in the crib. The app uses real sleep time to adjust nap lengths and wake windows.
What Should I Do if My Baby Wakes Mid-Nap?
If your baby wakes up before the suggested nap time ends:
- Pause the tracker and give them a few minutes
- If they fall back asleep, you can resume tracking
- If not, end the nap — the app will still adjust the rest of the day accordingly
Can I Track Daycare Naps?
Definitely! You can ask your baby’s caregiver to write down nap times during the day.
Then, when you’re home, log those naps manually in the app to keep the schedule accurate.
- Enter any naps they took during daycare
- The app will automatically recalculate the rest of the day’s schedule
I Don’t Have Time to Track Every Nap — What Can I Do?
You can log naps later. If you missed a nap, just add it manually when you have time. Even partial tracking helps the app adjust the schedule and improve accuracy over time.
Why Is Tracking My Baby’s Sleep Important?
Smarter tracking = smarter schedule
The app adapts with every sleep you track. The more consistent your tracking, the more accurately it can adjust wake windows, nap lengths, and sleep timing as your baby grows.
How does the schedule work?
The Smart Sleep Schedule is based on:
- Your baby’s age
- Their recent sleep data (including naps and overnight sleep)
- What’s biologically appropriate based on wake windows and circadian rhythms
The more consistently you track, the more accurate the recommendations become. That said, every baby is different — and sometimes adjustments are needed.

Using the Lock Screen Widget (iPhone only)
If you’re on iOS 16 or later, you can enable the lock screen widget to track naps and sleep without opening the app.
To turn it on:
- Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode
- Scroll down and toggle on “Live Activities”
- Then go to Settings > Smart Sleep Coach > Live Activities
- Make sure both “Allow Live Activities” and “More Frequent Updates” are turned on
- Start a sleep event — the widget should appear automatically
If it doesn’t appear:
- Toggle Airplane Mode on and off to reset connectivity
- Ensure you’re using only one device — Live Activities only work on the device that started the sleep
